Lifelong Learning Department's functions and responsibilities

  • Arranging short term trainings on specific topics for national and international experts;
  • Arranging short and long term in-service training and retraining courses on specific topics for national and international experts;
  • Arranging Master’s level degree programmes at BHOS for national and international students;
  • Defining professional skills improvement needs for SOCAR technical and managerial staff for its further scheduling;
  • Systematically arrange workshops, in-service training and retraining courses for BHOS staff, faculty and employees, as well as assist them in participating in such events organized abroad with the view of facilitating their professional development;
  • Organizing scientific and methodical conferences, seminars and exhibitions to facilitate dissemination of advanced knowledge on various domains of technology;
  • Establishing and maintaining partnership relations with international education/training centers and companies to facilitate dissemination of advanced knowledge;
  • Organizing short-term trainings on English language proficiency development, ICT, Physics, Chemistry, etc. for school/university/college students, prospective students, as well as employees and managerial staff of various companies and institutions;
  • To keep track and ensure application of the national and international innovation/technologies to facilitate dissemination of advanced knowledge among the targeted audience, including the learners representing various age groups, as well as the representatives of companies and institutions.
