  • 1981-1986 Azerbaijan Institute of Foreign Languages, Diploma with Honours, Teacher of English & French, (Master’s level);
  • 2012 - Azerbaijan University of Languages, PhD in Philology, PhD thesis: "Reflection of the concept of time in Azerbaijani, English & Russian Phraseology".

  • 1989-2005 Azerbaijan Technical University, Department of Foreign Languages, professor of English, Department for Foreign Students, Interpreter/Translator;
  • 2011 - Fulbright Alumna, Lehigh University College of Education (Research), Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (Teaching), Pennsylvania, USA;
  • 2005-2014 Azerbaijan University of Languages, Department of Lingvoculturology, Associate Professor;
  • 2013 - Azerbaijan University of Languages, Head of Summer School;
  • 2014 present Baku Higher Oil School, English and Humanities Center, Associate Professor;
