Volleyball champion of Baku Higher Oil School identified
The P.E.K.K.A. team of Baku Higher Oil School consisting of 4th year students of the Chemical Engineering Department has become the winner of the Boys Volleyball Competition held within the Spartakiad dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the university.
The invincible volleyball team defeated in the final the ACE team of 4th year students majoring in Oil and Gas Engineering with a score of 3:0.
Rector Elmar Gasimov wished success to the participants in the final game held on the campus of the university and said that the Spartakiad dedicated to the 10th anniversary of BHOS was organized at a high level.
“Along with offering high-quality education, Baku Higher Oil School attaches great importance to the effective organization of students' time. Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, we decided to organise sports competitions, because such games play an invaluable role in the formation of team spirit of students and the development of the social environment. A total of 12 teams competed in the boys' volleyball competition held as part of the Spartakiad organized among second, third, fourth and fifth year students”.
In the end, the competitors were awarded and the champion team was presented with the cup.
