BHOS student attends ‘Global Hult Prize Startup’ competition
Chingiz Mammadov, a fourth-year student at the Business Administration Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), was invited to the Final Stage of the "Global HultPrize Startup" competition as an Honorary Campus Director and successfully participated in this event held in London!
He was the only representative from Azerbaijan to participate in the 2025 finals, and one of only 4 Campus Directors selected worldwide. Other Directors represented the United States, Taiwan, and Ireland.
At the finals, Chingiz met with President of HultInternational Business School Matt Lilly, CEO of Hult Prize Lori van Dam, Director General of Programs Hamdi Ben El Elmi, Global Community Manager Joana Bacelar Virgyand Guatemala National Coordinator Javier Chau to engage in global discussions.
The "Hult Prize OnCampus 2024/25" program organized at BHOS under his leadership was successfully implemented with the support of our students GudratAbbasli, Banuchichak Mammadova, Nihat Heydarzadeand Nihad Mammadli.
The program was awarded both the "Best Regional Program in Europe" and "Best Program in the World" nominations for 2024–2025. Chingiz was one of the first 5 Campus Directors selected across Europe.
The program was mentored by Head of the Innovation and Research Center of BHOS Emilia Ahmadova.
The Hult Prize is organized by EF Education, a Swedish international education company, and Hult International Business School, one of the world's leading business schools. The competition focuses on innovation and social entrepreneurship, and the winning team receives a $1 million investment. The competition is also known as the "Nobel Prize for students."
Our student is now in the United States, where he is participating in the US State Department's cultural exchange program.
