Ambassador of Uzbekistan meets with Uzbek students at Baku Higher Oil School
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov met with Uzbek students studying at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.
The meeting, held jointly with BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov, was attended by students studying under the Dual Degree Program signed between BHOS and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Bukhara State Technical University, as well as those studying under exchange programs.
A total of 25 Uzbek students are currently studying at BHOS.
Elmar Gasimov noted that “the Uzbek students are exemplary ones, and the university has created all the necessary conditions for them.”
The Ambassador inquired about the education and living conditions of the students at Baku Higher Oil School.
“The largest number of Uzbek students in Azerbaijan are studying at Baku Higher Oil School, and I am confident that they will contribute to the development of their country by acquiring advanced knowledge and skills here”, he emphasized.
The students also expressed satisfaction with the quality of education, the social environment, and the opportunities created at BHOS.
At the end of the meeting, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov presented the “Guest of Honor” plaque to Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov.
