Representatives of the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.

Welcoming the guests, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov expressed his pleasure to see them at Baku Higher Oil School. The Rector noted that despite the fact that only 14 years have passed since the founding of BHOS, the university has achieved significant success.

“The highest scoring applicants choose BHOS, and starting from the second year, our students undergo industrial internship. It is important for BHOS students to gain international experience in the field of artificial intelligence. Therefore, we need to establish strong partnerships in this area, which means that cooperation opportunities are of particular importance for us.”

Speaking at the meeting Associate dean and Executive Director of the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education Carissa Little emphasized the strategic importance of artificial intelligence in the modern era and provided detailed information about the educational programs and online and global education opportunities offered by the center in this regard.
