Baku Higher Oil School, ‘Study in Azerbaijan’ platform sign agency agreement

An Agency Agreement was signed between Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and Education in Azerbaijan LLC (the Study in Azerbaijan project).

The document was signed by Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov and Director of Education in Azerbaijan LLC Shabnam Safarova.

The Agreement envisages the provision of services to BHOS for attracting international students, the establishment of institutional cooperation in this area, and support for the university’s international representation.

Emphasizing the importance of the Agreement, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov noted that “this cooperation will significantly contribute to increasing the number of international students, which is one of the main priorities of the Strategic Development Plan of Baku Higher Oil School.”

In her remarks, Director of Education in Azerbaijan LLC Shabnam Safarova emphasized that “the establishment of this cooperation with BHOS is of particular importance in terms of promoting Azerbaijani higher education institutions at the international level.”

The "Study in Azerbaijan" project is a national platform formed on the basis of the public-private partnership model, implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The project is being implemented in collaboration with SABAH HUB.

The signing ceremony was attended by CEO of SABAH HUB Rahim Bayramli, CEO of High-Tech Park Nihat Majidov, Student Affairs Coordinator at Education in Azerbaijan LLC Aydan Niftullazade, as well as vice-rectors of Baku Higher Oil School and employees of the relevant structural divisions.
