Baku Higher Oil School is launching a doctoral program under the SABAH program for the first time in the country

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an opportunity to pursue doctoral studies under the SABAH program has been created for the first time in the country at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

From now on, BHOS will offer doctoral studies in Earth Sciences and Technical Sciences.

8 state-funded full-time places are offered under the Earth Sciences specialization,  while 12 places are available under the Technical Sciences specialization.

BHOS doctoral students will benefit from high scholarship opportunities, a four-year full-time study model, practice-oriented academic programs, and research activities conducted under the supervision of experienced faculty members.

In addition, doctoral students will be provided with access to BHOS's extensive material and technical base, modern research laboratories, scientific library and electronic resources, and international digital databases.

The opportunity to use the Student House and Sports Center located on the Campus of Baku Higher Oil School will also provide additional advantages for the social and academic lives of doctoral students.

One of the important advantages of doctoral education at BHOS is that doctoral students have the opportunity to work at a higher education institution.
