Baku Higher Oil School and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), Elmar Gasimov, met with Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Zhanseit Tuymebayev, to discuss opportunities for expanding academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions.

Welcoming the guest, Rector Elmar Gasimov expressed pleasure at hosting him at the univesity and provided a comprehensive overview of BHOS’s educational process and modern infrastructure. The Rector highlighted the longstanding and productive cooperation between BHOS and higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening these partnerships.

Zhanseit Tuymebayev, in turn, expressed KazNU’s strong interest in broadening cooperation with BHOS across all areas of mutual interest.

As part of the meeting, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Memorandum provides a framework for expanding cooperation in education and scientific research through the exchange of academic knowledge and expertise, the mobility of faculty members and students for academic and research purposes, the implementation of joint research projects, and the organization of collaborative scientific conferences, seminars, and other academic events.
