Baku Higher Oil School, George Washington University discuss opportunities for cooperation
A delegation from the George Washington University (USA), comprising Sevinj Mammadova, Associate Provost for Global Academic Partnerships; Benjamin Hopkins, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs; Lionel Howard, Dean of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development; and Jason Zara, Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science, visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.
BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov provided the guests with detailed information about the activities of Baku Higher Oil School, its educational opportunities, academic potential, and international cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the training of highly qualified specialists and expressed mutual interest in establishing a partnership.
The delegation familiarized itself with the educational process, infrastructure, laboratories, and the Lyceum of Digital Knowledge. The guests highly praised the modern facilities and conditions created at the university.
This was followed by a meeting with BHOS faculty and administrative staff, during which the sides exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation.
The George Washington University’s delegation also met with BHOS students and answered their questions.
