The Society of Petroleum Engineers of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has held a competition called "PetroChem".

Employees of the Petroleum Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Vusal Karimov and Rashad Nazaraliyev participated in the “ThEOR 2022” international scientific conference organized in Baku by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), the Middle East Technical University (METU) and Kazan Federal University.
